Book a place at an event

Some kitchens on Feedhood cook for a room instead of a doorstep: a supper club, a cooking class, a tasting, a market stall. Booking one works like ordering food — you pay in the app and the money reaches the cook the same way — but you get a ticket instead of a delivery.

What catches people out

The refund policy is the organizer’s, not ours

Every event states its own before you pay — seven days, 24 hours, or final sale. Read it on the page; it is the one thing that differs most between two events that otherwise look the same. If the ORGANIZER cancels, everybody is refunded in full whatever the policy said.

"Pay what you can" really does mean you choose

The organizer suggests an amount and sets a small minimum. You pick what you pay at checkout, and nobody at the door is told what anybody paid.

Times are the event’s, not your phone’s

A 7pm supper club in Vancouver says 7pm wherever you are reading from. That is deliberate: the time you need is the time you turn up at.
