What catches people out
It books the kitchen. We start looking for a driver about 45 minutes beforehand. If nobody takes it you are told before your food is made, and you can switch to pickup or cancel for a full refund.
The courier cannot complete the delivery without photographing where they left it, and you get that photo. It is enforced by the system, not by asking nicely.
Kitchens decide whether they collect sales tax and at what local rate. When they do, it is paid out to them in full to remit. Feedhood takes none of it.
