Run an event
An event is a night you sell places at rather than plates of. If you already sell food on Feedhood you are already set up — same account, same payouts, same bank details — and Feedhood takes 0% of the ticket price. You create it as a draft, add your tickets, then publish when it is ready.

What catches people out
Open the guest list once while you still have a connection and it downloads. The scanner then decides locally and queues every check-in until it can upload. The device’s answer is a claim, not a fact: the server re-decides each queued scan on upload, because a refund may have happened since, and anything it disagrees with is reported rather than swallowed.
Switch it on and the event shows its neighbourhood publicly; the street address goes out with the ticket. That is the normal setting for a supper club in your own home, and it also means the event has no pin on the events map — it is listed beside it instead, under "Not on the map".
Dates that have sold cannot be moved under the people who bought them. Edit those dates individually, or cancel the series and start a new one. Everything else about a series — the description, the price of an unsold tier, the FAQ — still pushes to every future date when you save the template.
You can add tax to tickets, and the mechanism works. Whether you SHOULD, and at what rate, is a question for your own accountant — admissions are treated differently from prepared food in many places, including BC.
